Kingmaker: The App – Update 4

January 7, 2015

I’ve released a new version of the Kingdom Manager (0.9.0.7) in order to address some bugs.

Features

  • Dramatically reduced the size of the save files.
  • Maps with already-claimed hexes can be now be added to a kingdom without a Ruler. Previously an error was generated, as a kingdom with no Ruler is technically not allowed to claim hexes.
  • The map and character windows have been slightly redesigned to use a standard menubar. This replaces the Save/Cancel buttons that used to be on the bottom of those windows.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where a map hex that had two features with the same name caused an error when the map was added to a kingdom. The map window will now prevent a feature with a duplicate name from being added to a hex. (found by Yonatan Birk)
  • Fixed a bug where saving a kingdom that contains a settlement with City Walls or Moats, then opening the kingdom and attempting to save it again, caused an error. (found by Yonatan Birk)
  • When using right click -> Remove -> Refund on a City Wall or Moat, the kingdom’s Unrest should now be adjusted appropriately. Previously, Unrest would go up for each such building refunded, even though only the first such building of each type lowered Unrest.
  • Fixed a bug where multiple Foundry buildings would all enhance the same Mine.
  • Fixed a bug where having Foundry buildings in a Settlement would cause an error when the kingdom was opened. (found by Yonatan Birk)
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the user from constructing the Magical Streetlamps building. (found by Yonatan Birk)
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the user from constructing the Everflowing Spring building. (found by Yonatan Birk)
